Holes on jardinis head

My jardini has a lot of small holes on his head anyone knows how to treat it ? Please help me out

I asked my local fish store to test my water he said my PH is to low . But he started having these holes when the PH was ok . And btw he still eats

looks like HITH to me, change the water and keep it pristine, IMHO. nitrates never over 10 at the most.

It's pretty low and yea I do feed him live food

Can you explain a little more please .i don't really know what they are HITH and IMHO

do you have your own test kit by chance? API fesh water master test kit my fav, has been for years, can you run a quick water quality test? esp nitrates?
