I believe it to be 22"/23"s. I haven't had the chance to measure any of my monster bichirs lately. Although I did take out my largest platinum bichir growout..... has grown from 3"s/4"s to over 13"s!!! & very thick for its size. Will post pics later.

All of my PBBs have dots along the sides of the body..... some more pronounced than others...... YES I agree with you.... very unique indeed..... that's why I drove all the way to SD in the middle of the night to grab..... I took a gamble..... looking at it in person, it does have the MONSTER thick head all PBBs have..... I can't wait to see this little fella grow & see its progress in the next couple of years. According to the seller, he got it from Toyin.
