I was at the walmart pet section and they are selling bottled betta water...what saps. I feel sorry for those that buy it.

I've seen that too and wonder if it sells? How many people would be fooled into buying that item
Honestly (no hate please!) I'm starting to develop the opinion of 'anyone dumb enough to fall for something THAT stupid without first doing research (research should tell you its a ploy, you shouldn't even have to type in "bottled betta water" to know that's bull) kinda "deserves" to be ripped.'
Okay, so they don't deserve to be ripped off as such, but if they did their research they'd know its bullcrap, so really, who's to blame? The guy who knows jack about cars, doesn't seek a second opinion and buys a broken car? Or the con man that sold the broken car to him? Personally I think they're both to blame a little, granted the latter more so but anyone in their right mind usually heads to google AT LEAST before diving into something head first when they know they've got no clue about it, whether it be cars, fish, horses, mortgages etc..

These days the internet is pretty easy to get hold of and if you can't spend 5mins on google then expect to be ripped off.

Personally I feel more sorry for the betta that's ploped in 250ml of "betta water" because "its better for him to be in a tiny amount of this water than a decent size, filtered tank with normal water, geez don't you know anything?"

Them people bug me and if they get ripped off, who cares? Ain't no money out of my pocket.

I don't want to argue, just stating opinion; no hate please. :)

You'll get no hate from me as I agree with what you said wholeheartedly.
If someone is gullible enough to think that a beta needs sone kind of special water then more power to whomever is able to sell it to them.

Damn,Frank Castle got the hammer....I'm not sure what his infraction was but hopefully it wasn't bad enough for his ban to be permanent.

Yeah I saw that too, hope it's a temp ban. And kittiekat I try not to hate and belittle people, remind me of that if i start to leave the rails
