Shot in the dark and honest question, are you sure you're not confusing the Mayan cichlid, uropthalmus, with these lower quality festae you're referring to? They're shorter bodied with more of a beak like mouth. They're less colorful and bars are different...they're often mistaken for festae.
Like i said, yours is a very nice pair...obviously very well taken care of. I'm just not seeing anything that really differentiates that pair from other nice pairs I've seen and kept in the past.

Yeah I'm not some low level hobbyist, I know what may and are, let's see were are your festae to compare? Also people who say there average or nothing special were are your special festae?
People don't necessarily have to own a festea to know what one looks like.

Firemoutht and festae are not the same so your opinion doesn't count. Your not dumb you continually provoke and troll. You haven't like one picture but you make stupid raps and pat yourself on the back. Maybe the bangers and mash are cold and your bored and lonely. Oriqua why do you have to call people names or get hostile when someone simply has a different opinion? No need to put others or other fish down. I live firemouths and actually all cichlids. There is no need for this.
