Lol... Thanks covetous... SMH you had me going for a minute... Lol yeah my buddy here in Milwaukee just had a nice breed and I was not turning down 6$ a piece, now it's just the waiting game

Definitely, can't beat 6$ a piece. They run around 10-15$ here where I'm at.

Even just a single pair of adult Dovii need 150 Gallons or more. Everything else in the tank would end up dead maybe even the female. They would probably do best in a 300-500 Gallon tank realistically but nobody really does that.

Yup. They will eventually kill everything else. Might be ok now, but dovii don't play well w/ anything else. They study their tank mates learn their weakness, then kill. The one thread where a dovii bit a pleco in half is proof they are no joke.

Yeah I've been wanting to keep them but I know, the last one I sold tore my flowerhorn a new crapper... Lbvs

They're pretty slow growers, you're hoping to get a pair I'm assuming? I think a 150 would be on the low end of keeping a pair happy and healthy for life.

Not true at all, a 150 would be just fine to keep a festae pair happy.

You probably don't want to go any lower than a 150. I suppose as long as it was a 2' wide tank it would be okay. Considering a standard 150 is 18" wide I think it might be a little bit true.

I ordered 5 the other day only one showed up alive. he/she is doing good. I've been missing mine for quite sometime. They say they are sending replacements next week.
