lol it'll be pico soon :p

I think a lot of it is to do with my girlfriend moving in lol, I'm trying to make it less of a batchelor pad; and have sort of smaller aquariums that "fit in" more, so I can have one in each room :D
His plan to get his girl friend get use with these small tanks then he will up size later...

I can imagine that being a problem lol, luckily I'm happy with smaller fish at the moment. I daresay in future I'll try and make a return to the forums namesake
I do like cherry barbs and LDA025 which are both small but I haven't seen any LDA025 in 10 years or more at a LFS.

One of my LFS has a rimless 40ishx9x9 tank that looks nice and it would fit perfectly on that skinny stand I made but they want over a $100 for it

1 of our LFS setup an 14x14 square rimless reef, it's look awesome but...the tank cracked and fall a part in front of us LOL so you guys careful with these rimless tanks...

I personally don't like rimless tanks except in the nano type(5-6x5-6)

They still look a lot nicer than the cheap plastic braced tanks...
I'm going to disagreed with you on that. Personally I like the look of rimmed tanks better. Its one of those "in the eye of the beholder" sort of things. :)

I like rimmed and rimless tanks. I plan on building a wooden "frame" to go around the corners and bottom of the tank to cover the silicone and polystyrene support. Im also going to incorporate a glass panel lid and a DIY lighting unit

I hate rimmed tanks with braces lol, it's all personal taste though. As long as the tank has a clear glass lid with clips, I'm happy :)
You probably wouldn't like my tanks then, most of them have black hoods... Its to keep the cat fur out haha
