Why can't people just put underwater turbines(like air turbines but in water) in the rivers?instead of damming everything to hell?

No clue- but one of the local pleco breeders spoke at my club and the pics of the changes in habitat he showed were down right scary! CodOnMyRod

I have a L001, common and a female bristlenose. The experience I've had over the years is the bigger the more active they were. When I kept the Zebras 98% of the time they never moved...they were like statues in the tank.

Fair enough. Some of the commons are some of favs too especially the larger species grown out to their potential. I can respect them all for their niches but anyone talking trash about zebs sounds kind of trollish to me.

It is crazy think after all the collection its the loss of habitat that puts them under. Sad, sad, sad, hopefully there's still time to save this species in the wild

I'll respect your opinion but for me personally I would have a hard time disliking this fish. So for me it struck me as slightly trollish, yes. Of course I could be wrong, you and W Warborg just have a genuine dislike for this fish. For the record Im not offended, I could less what other people think

Maybe, I didn't say it the right way(my fault), I think they are the prettiest pleco ...and fish out there. I'm always in awe when I see one person, That's why I bought some in the 90's. Yes, I was disappointed with them because of their lack of activity. I just decided that they weren't for me.

You are wrong if you thought that I was being trollish,did you miss where I posted that I would include one if I were to set up a community tank.....if I found one priced cheaply enough?

Hey guys, I actually retract my statements to you. Looking back, I'm was just being overly sensitive. I'm just really into the zebras at moment. Either that or it was just that time of the month lol
