Quick reference guide to ID your Crenicichla.

This is something I found on the web that I thought would be useful in ID'ing the Crenicichla that is so often mislabeled at a LFS.

It does not mention the frog headed pikes? ALso what is the common pure red pike we see in stores? I Thought they were xingu but the picture does not look like them.

I don't think there is a common "fire" pike. I have seen several different ones come through all with the same common label
