Losing Passion for My Community Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Carp, is this you?

Just kidding. With all those plecos you are bound to lose one. Don't let that get you down.

If you really are bored with it then yes, change it up if you really feel a change will help. At times I get bored with my fish but once I regain interest I still want the same fish.

Haha, the only thing Carp and I have in common is that we don't Do water changes! I have a drip system.

It's not a pity party by any means, just need a change. Even with less aquascaping, and the fish more active, I'm not feeling it. Can't figure it out. But thanks for the suggestions, I do appreciate them and will think about each one

Do a Madagascan community, they're hard to find and grow slower than molasses in January but.... I lost my train of thought there. They're cool

hello; The title sort of made me think of the carp, but the thread itself does not. After reading thru it about the various tanks I have a case of envy.

I had 40+ neons in a 29 gallon and would like to see 200.

To the question- With all the setups described my guess is that the OP will have an inspiration eventually. Perhaps let the community tank ride for a while and wait for inspiration.

good luck

I think it may be the best option for now. I will probably sell off the smaller plecos and the clown loaches and odds n ends. It was great getting to grow out all the fish but its plateau'd.
I love the tank itself--1.5" acrylic.
Let me post some vids to give you guys a better idea of what we are working with here.
