White wild green terror

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I thought about getting another fish to make them feel more confident, but I don't want to risk bringing home a sick fish and losing them:/
Don't blame you there are a lot of sick fish at pet stops breeding bugs

i

No,it is not true, although still widely believed.
The first fish given the title green terror was actually rivulatus.
Aequidens rivulatus is a the gold saum, the silver/white saum and the original green terror. They are all the same fish.
Aequidens stalsbergi is just that, stalsbergi and nothing more.
So what is my silver terror and gold terror riv or saum?

Both.
Aequidens rivulatus is the same fish whether white, silver or gold. They just get called gold saum or silver saum depending on colour.
Stalsbergi only comes white edged but is distinguished by its scale pattern.

Wtf thank you but scale pattern can change due to genetics -.- just like a yellow labrador and golden retriever still both labs just retriever is hairy

Thanks for the response wiki says the same

The scale pattern of rivulatus won't change
The scale pattern of stalsbergi won't change.
The scales of stalsbergi are the reverse of rivulatus.
Unless any of these fish are hybridised their scales won't change.

Thanks I was planning on getting a 150g and putting the breeding pair and set of stalesberg wild caught in the tank.

I would not recommend it.stalsbergi will destroy rivulatus.
That's not cool I might wait out for stelsberg there hard to source wild caught ones one person wanted 1200 euro for breeding pair

The female was chasing the male yesterday today they are both dark in colour and the male is chasing the female -.- both being a. Little extra aggressive only change is upgrading from 50w to 300w heater
Stelsberg can be my next project I'm happy with what I got thanks if I can find more female wc ones
