Does a Dwarf Puffer's diet consist of algae? My DP has been more interested in algae the past couple days than frozen bloodworms, mysis, or live snails. Along with that I'm thinking about not getting any more DPs to completely avoid agression. Do they live well alone? Fat Homer Fat Homer

Do they have access to strong flow? Can they climb to a high place and fan filter the water? Hiding is also to be expected in new set-ups ime

He has access to all of that and I've been adding Hikari First Bites for him until I get proper food. He's out now, and he was also more active last night too. I thought last night would be a one time thing since he's new the tank, but niw I believe he feels safer exploring the new tank at night.

What would be best to feed him? I was looking at a baby shrimp food on amazon but I'm not sure how well it would work.
 
My little jungle, just a simple barebottom for growing out and keeping my brothers fish alive. Unfortunately the butterfly fish is now restrained to a net for eating a danio :eek:

current fish are:
1 Betta splendens
1 Salvini cichlid (may be moved)
1 African Butterfly fish
3 Longfin Leopard danios
2 Female platies


Plants are Anubias (sp?), spear anubias, christmas moss, hornwort, elodea and Java Fern sp. Phillipine

The cichlid is a psychopath and was moved out with the butterfly to a 5 gal, im gonna swap them again when i wake up so that the smaller fish can stay in the smaller tank. I didn't realise how bad cichlids can be

Surprisingly he didn't target the betta, only the danios. But anyways i need to find a way to stop it. I might just put him in the 70 so he can't bully anyone since they are all much bigger in there than he is
