Thanks. I'm glad he doesn't have a baseball on his head but I still would like a little bit of a nuchal hump lol.I actually kinda like the no hump look of your beast. I also really appreciate the coloration in comparison to Bruce, the amphilophus are just beautiful fish and they go through so many color transformations.... Always keep ya guessing
Bruce is at an ideal shape for my eye. We shall see with him being dominant fish in the tank though.Thanks. I'm glad he doesn't have a baseball on his head but I still would like a little bit of a nuchal hump lol.
Agreed. I like the profile Bruce had. I'd be happy if mine had a something similar to Bruce.Bruce is at an ideal shape for my eye. We shall see with him being dominant fish in the tank though.
i don't even like to play those games with him anymore. last time i time i tried to get him pissed off he started striking at the glass hard enough to get my gf out of the bedroom and into the living room to ask me what was going one haha.growing quite beastly. Are you sure the big guy is a guy? I've had some female amphs with more of a hump. One thing that caused my fh to go nuts was hanging a mirror at the end of the tank, I think it helped with head development trying to dominate himself...lol He's in a tank with others now though. Regardless the color and finnage is great on him.

I'm sure he's a male. i have a video of his "wiener" hanging out one day with he went into spawning mode. if you like to see it, i can post it.
and the person that dropped him off at the lfs i worked at said he promptly killed the female after spawning.
