I wouldn't move the parents Frank.They seem happy where they are.I would net out or syphon most of the fry and leave a few in there with them.

Yea more chance of the bond being broken when moving them, leave them where they are and they should breed again. Parents are more important than the fry.

I was thinking that, but I wanted some confirmation from others, so good then.
It allows the female some recovery time before the male becomes a sex pest.Keeping a few fry with them keeps him busy defending them while the female gets some strength back.
Maybe,she won't have been eating as much as normal while defending the fry.I would leave a handful with them and let her fatten up ready for the next time.

that's a bit too big lol right now they are only in a 29g but will be getting an upgrade shortly. I wanted to take the babies out but I don't have any place to put them until I get rid of these Jewel and Convict fry.
