Geophagus brasiliensis finally bred

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Update, 2 months old probably about 1/4" at this point. Parents still highly protective, Dad was even attacking my magnetic algae-scrubber earlier when I was cleaning the glass. Lost some fry as expected but most was all before I fitted the intakes of the HOBs w/ the cut-off foot of a nylon stocking and heavy-duty coated wire-tie

They look like there coming along nicely
yea, I agree....i'm debating on how much longer to keep the fry in with the parents - I know from experience its MUCH easier to net them out when they are bigger, but I could also just move the parents, but i'm worried it will take a long time for them to breed again if I stress them out from moving them. What do you think??

Look after the parents, they will produce more fry as long as there not stressed. Net the fry out 2 months is probably about right.
