Filter socks Nylon or Felt

Going to start using socks instead of floss and was wondering what you guys prefer. Nylon or Felt.

First time going with socks. Seems most of you guys like the socks.

I use felt, when the get dirty I flip them inside out and blast them off in the laundry sink. I do that for a couple uses then I will run them in the washer with bleach. Spend alittle extra for the better felt socks, they will hold up for much longer.

I use 7x16 75 micron from snackking on ebay..contact him directly for quantity..he'll give a better price too.i replace them every year or so.

I use felt. Buy a bunch as big as you can and then just turn them inside out and wash them. I change mine every week.

I use felt, heavy stock with two feedings per day. I changed them out every 3-4 days. I bought a used cheap washing machine and I only use it to wash filter socks. I usually wash 8-10 at a time. No soap or chemicals, just straight water and I wash every load twice .
