Bought this fish about a month ago, started showing more color.its 2 1/2-3 inches.I think its male, has not shown anything near the anal fin yet.does the pattern/spotting in the fins help indicate male? Any more insight would be great

First off let me start off with what a nice pick up. It's has nice colors and fins lots of potential for a very nice adult. My guess defineitly leans more on male. For sure a male from what I've seen and my experiences :) nice fish

going w/ female again. Any tankmates?

EVERYONE always tends to want a male (almost), but 9/10 that i see end up being female.

Most GT breeders are smart enough to hold onto males and grow them out until they hit "Show Quality" and sell them for $40-$100 rather than $4-$12

I sure would unless i was overloaded w/ too many fish

I got mine from 2 different lfs and sold them years later I'm seeing a lot of green terror threads though and I saw a little guy at the store the other day I'm so tempted to buy

on the aggression scale, Rivulatus is a bit higher then the rest of your stock. A male could dominate everything you own, and a female could KILL everything you own.
