I was thinking there are 3 others that got fed death penalty, of those only 1 had been put to death, either way be at least 20 years when or if it happens. interesting factoid, cheaper to jail for life than to put a prisoner to death.

Why cheaper to jail vs death ? Last i remember it was close to 400$ a day to house an inmate

Hello; I have heard this for a long time. I don't know the details of why, perhaps death row costs more to run? It also may be a bit of propaganda from those against the death verdict.

I get all the appeals and reviews because some have been executed who were later proven to be innocent. This is the bigger and only good argument against capital punishment. But this fellow is guilty with no doubt.

It would be hard to imagine death row is more costly but i could be wrong have no experience with it maybe K krichardson can shed some light.

Figure once the crook is fried the bills stop coming lol

between all the appeals before they can be put to death, and special housing, looking at 20 years before they are put down on average.

Cases without the death penalty cost $740,000, while cases where the death penalty is sought cost $1.26 million. Maintaining each death row prisoner costs taxpayers $90,000 more per year than a prisoner in general population. There are 714 inmates on California's death row.

Thats interesting i would assume their medical costs would be more so it makes sense.

the only solution I see here is to feed the death row inmates to homeless people. two birds, one stone AAAAAAMIRITE?!

Advice for these times:as bad as our leaders r now, they r mere puppets, and the string puller will soon arrive,he will seem great at first, but will quickly prove to be worse,do not obey nor trust him.

Don't turn on your friends and neighbors, for u will need each other in the upcoming collapse.

Keep strong,be vigilant, prepare and pray hard that I am wrong.
