Like the title says, anyone have an underwater webcam? Or know of any? I'm setting up a pond that doesn't have a viewing window, I'd like to put a cam in it so I can watch the tank at any time. I've seen Go Pros that are waterproof, but they just record as far as I know. It is possible to install an enclosure for one, but I'd prefer an outright waterproof cam.

Any thoughts?

maybe build a box and use a security style camera system that can stream to your computer, phone etc via wifi , that be pretty neat to watch from your phone while not home to make sure everybody happy and healthy .. they also have zooming cams , tilt etc ...

I have considered that, however I've never worked with acrylic before and I'm not sure how good of a job I would do. I have ethernet in the room where the pond is going in, so I don't even need to worry about wifi, but I'm not sure how I feel about that option. The risk of a $100+ cam being ruined should my box leaks sucks a bit.

Edit- Forgot to mention, but yeah I do want to be able to watch away from the house. Mostly while I'm at work lol

Im sure you could build a decent water proof box using a lexan or glass window fairly easy ..

I found this video online , i knows it probably not exactly what your looking for but every lil idea helps ...
