Senegalus acting crazy - Illness?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I really don't want him to suffer any longer than he has to, so if you guys think I should euthanize, please don't hesitate to say so...
Ill keep doing epsom and try not to stress him, try to put him in the qt, so you can change water everyday, small 5-10g will do. Give him 1 month and see, he still breathing and moving dont lose hope bro.

Polyaddict86 Polyaddict86 had a cb endli spasm to a S shaped. It later straightened itself out .
This is th cb endli that had a S shaped, it was like this for 2-3 months, it happened all of a sudden too.
As long as its eating and moving, dont lose hope, it will get better, clean water and provide good food.

I would love to keep him alive. The thing is that endli looked like he was comfortable, it was a deformity and nothing more. My sen just seems like he's in pain... I guess I'll put him in a qt for a couple days and see

You should have seen it at fisrt when it happened, poor guys was belly up, im thinking it was dead, when he swims up and down in circles then smash its head either the glass or gravel. Sometimes when it eats, he eats while its belly is up, and poor thing cant even go backwards, i didnt post it before, i only showed it to few people cause i was just waiting for it to die. But i just did my normal routine on WC, add some aquarium salt, next thing i know it got better.

That's crazy. Very encouraging though. I'll definitely try to ride it out then. fingers crossed

it just seems so impossible though, I never would've guessed recovery was possible. This is quite a turnoff for cb
Polys look cute when small, but defective genes shows when they start growing, you cant tell what you gonna have, but not all cb are like that some WC too will have defects just like one of my dabola, it swims funny, tail is always down, and jaws BV the jaw is not perfect.
