Oh my gosh he just scared the crap out of me!
I went to go stare at the tank, and saw him belly facing forward, completely vertical, head down / tail up, in a val plant near the intake tube of my filter. I thought he was dead or really sick! Then a rope fish swam by him and he just casually swam off. He was just literally hanging out.
Dork.
He seems to really like the plants. And he is more ropefish-like in that he doesn't always sit on the ground. He'll often just literally hang out with his front fins out but not touching anything, either on a plant leaf or on a rock or something. Maybe that's in part because he's not big and bulky like the Del. He's quite the character and I just adore the green head.
I'm pretty sure it's a male actually. The Del is far harder to tell as s/he is usually on the ground smashing the anal fin, or swimming fast to the top for air and back down. The ropes are easy - I have one male and two females. I'll try to get a photo of the Del at some point if I can so you can help me sex it.

My weeksii will sometimes hold itself mid water right by a filter intake. One time I thought it was dead and stuck on the intake... I almost started to cry and then it swims off when I go in to look at it. Silly polys!

Nope! I'm not spending money on a fish that I'll never see! LOL That fish needs to go to someone who has a tank setup like yours, not a planted tank.
My next target might be the WC Palmas Polli, then I'm done until I upgrade.
Then onto LJs!

I will say that there was one poor solitary lone rope fish that I almost took home out of pity (to join my trio) but I was good and held back.
