Any large Frontosa tanks out there?

I have spent hours reading on cyphos.com after joining, but it won't let me post yet:( The site seems fairly inactive at present, but once had an amazing participation rate. I have narrowed my likes down to almost all of the variants except Burundi. Tough decision!! My 48x20x30" dual tower wet dry filter is being built, just need to see how many gallons of bio balls I'll need, thinking 30. After I disassemble and clean the 375, I'll start the build. Definitely the fun part starting a new tank.

I unfortunately had to wait a month before being approved, and that was only because someone who knew the owner was able to call him and let him know that people were waiting.

Beautiful group, tank looks great as well!
One word of advise though...when fronts get spooked they usually bolt around the tank at high speed and run the risk of running into things. You may want to watch some of those branches, they'd cause alot of damage if a front ran face first into one at high speed.
Just speaking from experience as I've had many fronts with boo-boos from head on collisions with things in my tanks over the years.

Thanks for showcasing those beautiful fish. Enjoy!

Finally picked up my group of mikulas, here they are right after I just added them in tonight.

Beautiful fish with long fins and classic Zaire face mask. I like the bright color and contrast as I've had variants that turn dark with age. Several individuals have already developed long trailers so I wonder if the group is male heavy. How big and old is the group.

Thank you :) Funny you mention the wood, as soon as I put them in I realized that could be a problem and took out the really branchy piece to avoid any injuries. Still debating on leaving the larger pieces in there..

Thank you :)

Thank you :) I'm not sure m/f ration best guess is 4m 6f. I should have vented them as I put them in :( The group is 4 years old and the alpha male measured 13 inches.
