with the daily 50% WC and betadine swabs, the wound appears to be getting better. Going to buy Kanaplex as suggested by Rocksor and dose with Triple Sulfa. My fingers are crossed.



If main tank does have TB, should I add bleach to the water or tear everything down and soak? I have sand and driftwood in there. The possibility of a UV sterilizer was brought up, but idk if I can afford one right now.

What do I do for the driftwood and sand? I just those brand new a month ago.

Does tb actually get cured ? Will it be in the fishes system and be dormant?

According to what I've read it can be cured. If not given proper antibiotics and period of time then more restistant strains develop and will be dormant and re-infect.

Similarly in people.
