Frozen food my fish won't eat

I made a salmon with seaweed mix my fish and even my eels won't touch it. I usually have them jumping out of the water for it I'm going to try to re mix something better- any suggestions for ingredients?
the current ingredients were
4oz salmon
half cup of sea weed mix (dulce, kelp, spirulina, laver and nori)
a few smaller romain lettuce leaf tips

I would swop the salmon for shrimp or prawn.

I've never tried salmon before and will never use it again.
I really thought that was a good call they only had pellets for the last 3 days -

I try to stay away from land based protein unless it's from bugs- too many parasites

My fish love trout and tilapia....


....as far as that last sentence you made, I don't think that's accurate at all. Can you list some examples?

a lot more reasons to stay away from land based protein I do feed beef heart occasionally but even that has an instant and noticeable effect on the water

but what parasites are you referring to and which "land-based proteins'' are you referring to?

If I'm going DIY I try to stick to fish/seafood and insects I don't have to worry about foot long worms crawling out of.

I can answer your question again if you like -Beefheart is the ONLY land based meat I'll use. I try not to use anything that will ruin my water or that fish (in the generic sense) won't encounter in the wild. Cammalanus is a fun parasite to have- Bloat from too much protein is also a great time. Once you get to force feed Epsom to your midevil every night with a turkey baster for a month you get kinda picky as to what you're feeding the aqua pigs.
