They are distributed throughout other tanks.

So you kept them all? I don't dig Africans much lol only a few unique species, that's it. Is it Rift Lake or Riverine or Malagsy or what?

There is an article in the latest Buntbarshe Bulletin (the Journal the American Cichlid Association) you may want to check out, that suggests to be fair to the animal, a 1000 gal tank might not be sufficient.

To be fair to all fish we shouldn't keep them in glass boxes. I really didn't want this thread derailed into a tank size debate. I just was curious which fish people like better.

Male is 14 inches or so and the female about 8 inches.

It's mostly an mbuna setup.

ooooooh, now i see why you don't want the Dovii in the 180 - you're using it for the Festae and GTs and EBAs. I would be worried about that EBA.....Mbuna are way too aggressive for that, just a fair warning. I'd hate to see them tear up such a pretty fish

Honestly think it would be easier to get a better scape for the Africans in the 125 gal, then jags in the 180

Without dissing rift lake cichlids or talking tank size. I like dovii a little more, but just a little, and could go either way depending on the individual fish.
