Honestly think it would be easier to get a better scape for the Africans in the 125 gal, then jags in the 180

Might be so. My 180 is kind of my show tank in the family room. I like the color and activity of the africans in there.

I can see your point, as a main show tank, a divided pair of slightly tatty jags as what can happen isnt always the best.

So far they get along, but they haven't bred yet. That could change things.

The problems w/ Parachromis don't usually erupt until after spawning. You might be better off if they don't spawn as far as aggression is concerned. I recently had to split my pair up since the male wanted to breed and the alleged female did not

ooooooh, now i see why you don't want the Dovii in the 180 - you're using it for the Festae and GTs and EBAs. I would be worried about that EBA.....Mbuna are way too aggressive for that, just a fair warning. I'd hate to see them tear up such a pretty fish

Where are the JDs?

I actually traded the EBA for the female jag. The JD's are in a 55 at work for now.

At the school? lol bet that's cool - right in your office? Are you going to try and make a pair of EBAs? I got a normal Blue and an EBA but no luck pairing up so far. I still don't know how to sex EBAs, just normal Blue Acaras.....even then it's hard without them being next to each other.
