  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Those look great. I've heard of it but never done cleaning with it on plants. My shipment for the frogbit is out tonight. So waiting for that.

So is my new catfish!

Nice!! You gonna address any snails or throw them in ? I dont want any in my sump

Gonna get rid of them. Cant afford any choking hazards.

Probably will be going the water/bleach route for cleaning.

Lol....no prob will do!

If you do a quicker dip it shouldnt hurt the plants. I would just remove what snails you can, especially eggs. They look like transparent little goo balls about half the size of a pinky thumb nails on the undersides of leaves usually

Be sure to quarantine the plants, they are typically harvested from pretty nasty conditions, unless its from a friends tank or pond, then you maybe alright

How would you qt them ? Right now they are.just in a bucket of water. How long would you donthe dip for ? And how do you feel about the ratio of 19 to 1 water to bleach ratio ?

Would the dip suffice in killing off any nasties ? They were purchased from a nursery

The best one is potassium permaganate. You might try dipping(completely submerging) them quickly in methylene blue. The bleach not 100% sure. Keep in mind parasites hitch hike in on plants as easy as fish
