Is there a reason the azuls are at 78? Are you trying to see how fast they can acquire ich?
The tiny bass are more prone to ich at low temps. SLowly bump their temp up to 86-87 as well unless you want to care for sick fish.

Never had any problems with them. They also dont get live. I don't have an adjustable heater for that tank. It is a preset heater set at 78f. If I could bump it I would. They are in a tank that was never ment for bass. I planned to have them in with the broko but the size diff is too much. Once my jardini is sold I can move the azuls to a 88f 40br. The only reason I ever have had ich on any of my fish was due to feeders. Feeders are out and I am not geting more.

I also dont like to have my heat set this high. I like to stay at 82f normal. Small bass yes higher temp small aros yes higher temp. Once they are bigger they will be lowered to 82f. I feel too long at too high a temp can shorten their life.

Thanks

The xingu have started actively hiting bloodworms so soon they will be switched over. Just relieved they are eating.

Got a guy coming through on my jardini so ill have the rotation started on the bigger bass growing out. Gonna move the azuls out to the next step.

Well the bigger monos were big enough to go into the main group. Now it is moving day for the azuls. My my my how they have grown. Now in the 3" range from the little 1" bass I got them as. Looking sexy I might add. Camera cant get it but I can see spangled and blue coming in already! I think these are gonna be as hot as my last azul.

This guy looks awesome!

Thanks he is a "standard" represenitive for the azul group. They all are looking like him. I am very pleased with these guys. These were in the 76-78f tank. Now they are in the 88f tank with the brokos. I have moved the monos(except for one) with the bigger group. Ill get a vid of the tank with them all tonight. Still going to add a few things to all my systems tonight.

Still hard to get the blue and electric color these guys are showing.
