I do. I bleached the water lettuce when i got it. 1 part bleach to 19 parts water then soaked in safe/water. Also qt'd them for a few days.

Thanks! I know you posted the nitrate absorbing plant thread. thanks for the ratios! I'm trying to do this whole QT thing right this time! How long do you bleach the plants for? 20 mins?

way off topic but I was looking around mfk and discovered Hoplerythrinus unitaeniatus (gold wolf fish) and I need to be talked out of getting one. Jeff rapps has a 8-9" lol...

Good wolves can be aggressive jwd . Either alone or big groups with lots of space and decor. Plus or minus dithers. Should be ok with polys but they are nippy anything in the middle and upper zone of a tank.

I'd keep it solo. I wouldn't dare try it with my precious poly!

Wouldn't add it to ur current tank as the fish you have are small and likely get bullied. Will be ok with a solo tank. Sorry jwd had to go back and look at ur fish and tanks.

It would go in this 75 I have reserved for a poly but it sure is tempting especially when it's a 9" wc gold wolf from jeff rapps.

It can be with ploys of similar size, not really aggressive ime. Then Again mine is with fish that are capable of killing it, but I do have mine with polys, it's about 8-10" and is with larger polys now but was with same size ones which were much thinner of course. My tank isn't much bigger, only have a 120, don't know if it'll act different in a smaller tank without someone to keep it in its place. DB is the only person I've seen say his is overly aggressive.
