They are according to the tv news people who announce them which is where I get them from.I don't just make them up for conversation's sake but I do mention and share them here for that purpose.

I figured you'd be getting then from somewhere, but it still begs the question, why? What makes jelly doughnuts worthy of their own special day? Why can't they be enjoyed equally on every day of the year? Lol
