100% silicone GE1 no mold inhibitors good to go Jaws I have sealed 2 aquariums with this product fish living in both after now going on 4 years.

Thx t.
Keep reading over the back of it to see if im missing something. Was this the exact type you used ?

That's what I have used in the past.......but one caveat
This type does "not" have really good tensile strength. It has worked for me in placing glass panels over leaks, and over bottom cracks, where water pressure forces the panel on the leak. I tried it on a tank where the seems weren't good, and it could not take the pressure pushing out, the seams leaked, and eventually gave way.
A better brand made to hold such as RTV may be required, in a situation where actual strength is required.

This stuff works for small applications HOWEVER as Duanes pointed out its not made for largescale stuff. In my honest opinion anything over a 55 would be pushing the limits of this product depending on what you were using it for.

I suggest RTV 108. That stuff will glue a mack truck to the ceiling for years. Better safe that sorry with this much water and all.
