The pfs should be available in numerous colors. Should be able to get a sample even to mix and get an achieved effect.
Anybody here know what mesh size pool filter sand typical are? I'm trying to go by memory here but feel they're between 40/80. Anybody know?
That's awesome about the different colors. Perhaps I will contact some pool supply places. The one near me only has the tan silica sand. But yellow or another color would be cool. I know there's quartz and silica. The one store has silica. Is silica sand okay for polys? Read somewhere that silica can scratch fish and quartz is better.
Quikrete PFS is about 20 to 40 mesh. I assume it applies to most brands as well.
Dont remember the mesh size but its definitely bigger than the garnet. Sinks well too lots of people use pfs. I used lighthouse brand in the past sold at pool stores should be a million of them in florida lol
