Does the Butti pick on the other fish? I saw a big Butti and a bigger Dovi living in a 100 plus gallon tank together. Dovi was dead in a couple of months.

He doesn't seem to mind anyone else all that much. The aggression is surprisingly low for how crammed together everyone is. We also keep them very well fed with a mixed diet of live/FD/flake food. 60% water changes weekly suck though, especially when you don't have a python and still use the bucket method.

I can't imagine life without a python.

I can't imagine life without a python.

I need to buy one, but the closest sink that we can hook up to is all the way in the basement, so that means about 100ft of tubing is needed. I just haven't wanted to spend the money on it.

I do it to myself..

Are you near a window?
I syphon my water right out the window and hook a garden hose up to my kitchen sink using a converter attachment. No way was I using buckets to fill any tank over 10gl. It brings back nightmares of helping my mom do very rare water changes on the 55gl we housed the goldfish in over the winter. I still can't believe they managed to live, poor fish.

I'm surprised they all seem to get along. Nice looking fish. I like your oscar

I have 11 tanks going right now. No chance for me to keep it up without a python. My tanks are all in the living room, family room, kitchen, nook so there are sinks close by. After you get a python, you're going to wonder how you ever managed without one.

Thanks for the kind words. Our O's are like our slimy wet kids. The two in my avatar are from way back and are no longer around. If you look through my post history you will see some more recent pictures. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and finally buy a python next payday. It's been long overdue.
