yup I have a Koliba from WetSpot, came in at around 2.5" and has grown to about 4-5" in 2 months, so about 1" a month when young.
I may just scratch the palmas off the list then. That looks like a great list!
What are the sizes on the FishOnlineRUs fish?
Some of the wet spot ones are 3" which is very small. The only other thing is that I thiiiink the lap will grow more quickly, so you might get all of your upper jaws first (all but the lap) and grow them out before you get a lower jaw.
Palmas Palmas and Polli are different in both activity level and looks, however I will say that in a rare situation, my Polli was purchased recently from a tank in their store that was labeled TR Palmas Palmas... so you might get a Polli. Not sure because their shipped fish are in a different holding location and the ones in the store may have been the only ones mislabeled.
I remember my two cb koliba, one was alittle smaller than the other, not known to be aggressive but the bigger one end up killing the smaller cb koliba, torn fins, bit in the head, shreaded tail, bit marks in the body, maybe it tried to eat the smaller once. The size difference was less than .5".ShanerBock888 has a cb koliba lap from wetspost and let you know its growth rates.
That mota is definitly chill but do you think he'll try amd make a snack of the smaller polys not out of aggression but hunger
It survive that time, but then it got eaten the same night even when the lights was on![]()

No, I think it's a good thing! My Polli is always exploring and swimming and greets me at the front of the tank. I highly recommend Pollis! If you get a Palmas then you have a pretty fish. Win/win
Tell me about it, well lesson learned![]()
Just gave them my credit card info. Also left a deposit on another tank, will cover 300 to 500 gals...lol
I dont see any cannibalism toward other poly, most of the cannibalism come from endlies.I was fretting over these damn 4-5" prawns when I put my 2-2.5" ornate in the tank and my 1-2" L144s in the tank I was so worried they would get ate by the prawns or my 6" albino sengalus but luckily they survived
