Good morning my fellow fish lovers
Next month I'm planning to upgrade to a 75G
Does anyone reccomed a a certain filter
I currently have a eheim Ecco pro 2236
195 GPH
I was thinking about maybe a marineland or fuval
Is it true I need two filters on 75G instead of one
Thanks in advance

Morning, when I had my 5 stingray pups I keep them in a 75 gal but I used 2 eheim 2217. But if I had 1 pup I just ran with just 1 2217. It really depends on how many fish and size of ur fish in the 75.

You can just use a single filter on your 75 gallon, it just needseems to be large enough. What's your budget? You can pick up a fluval fx6 with media for around $350. If that's a little too pricey the fx4 is $250, or the Sunbun 304b at $90.

AC110. Nuff said.

I would say you get much more for the money than a canister, plus the crazy ease of maintenance

Thanks a lot
I think around 300 is my budget. I also need to get other things
But I maybe try to keep a variety of fishes
Mostly cichlids
So I know I may need a nice size filter
I also need something that's really quiet

That's a lot
I want to keep lots of fish
Might overstock just a bit
Fishes that gets no larger than 8 inches

A fluval fx4 would be great for your tank, and it would fall under your budget, leaving more money for more fish :)

Fluval FX-6
Eheim 2262
SunSun 304B
AquaClear 110

All of these are good options and will support a 75 by themselves. However, if you still have and are not using your other filter, it would be good to use both.
$300 is his/her budget.
