Now that is awesome! I love convicts, they are great little fish, they just breed worse than rabbits if a male and female even glimpse each other.

Thanks, they are great fish. A 7" male convict is an impressive fish.

I also have a c. Robertsoni that is fairly old. I've had her for over 11 years. All sources I have read say they live to 8.

Forgot to mention I have a clown pleco that I've had for 14 years.

Plecos live forever. I had one I got one from my mother, we had it put together 12yrs. before it died, but my mother got it from a friend of hers who gave it to her when it outgrew its tank.... who knows how old it was?

Synos are long living fish, although it doesn't seem impossible for a midas to get REALLY old.

My syno may enter adulthood with me
