Its illegal here too but some people have it and i just ask them if i can buy some, lucky for me they just gave it for free, you can try amazon if they will ship it to you.

Usually they dont hangout on top unless they feel secure, i guess adding the water lettuce made it them feel more secure.

I have a friend that collects orchids, and she buys from china and other countries, even its illegal she gets them.

So I upped the temp from 79 to 82 based on a comment by Experiment397 that he noted increased activity at that temp and I think it's true.

Polli is literally almost always swimming but the Del doesn't very often swim in the water column. She likes the bottom, and only ventures off of it really to get air. But last night she was swimming with the Polli and Moke in the middle and top.

I'll also be cutting their feedings down to every other day. That may also encourage activity. I'll keep you all updated.

Wow. That's some awesome photos!

I can't wait to see my sen to grow into something like this, minus the colour. He's currently stuffed himself with the first fish feeding, he took the whole piece and ran off with it without giving the knives any

After about 20 seconds he went looking for it, grabbed it and rocketed around to find a corner to eat it in. Now the sucker is lazy and just chilling on the tanks bottom. I'll add a video to my thread soon enough
