in all seriousness my oldest son who was 5ish at the time, used to see a bellman in the backyard of my Tennessee house. it was really weird because he explained that it was the bellmans job to take the luggage to the rooms of hotel guests and I have no idea where he learned that.

second kid, somewhere between 3-5 brought home this invisible friend from one of the cemeteries on fort Campbell. we all walked through the cemetery and looked around but nothing crazy. then he starts talking about "Jojo" JoJo this and JoJo that. "JoJo taught me about the planet's, they are mercury Venus earth mars Jupiter saturn Uranus and Neptune. " at the time I had to look it up to see if he was right, he was, and i will never forget the moment. he starts talking more and more about JoJo. we finally get it out of him that "JoJo was a prisoner who tried to escape and died in the river". we lived on the red river in Tennessee and it was very muddy. the boy tells us that our water is dirty and JoJo died in clean water, and that JoJo was a Nazi soldier. my wife does some investigating of her own and finds out that Joseph Redinger was a pow held at ft Campbell. he tried to escape and was cornered on a train bridge. the military police shot him and he fell into the Cumberland river where he died.

it was a weird feeling. we went from "he probably has an imaginary friend " to "well frigg, looks like we've got Nazi ghosts." he was harmless enough and didn't seem very mischevious.

it went on for a while with the boy and JoJo. after we found out about Joseph Redinger we looked up "nazi soldiers" on Google and showed him pictures of what appeared.(mostly hitler) and asked if he wore the same uniform. he responded with "no that man has four pockets on his uniform, JoJo only has two." which we found out later was the difference between some of the officers dress uniforms and enlisted uniforms . too many coincidences for him have just guessed all those things. I truly believe he brought JoJo back to our house from the pow cemetery. but after several weeks of not hearing anything about we asked the kid. he said told us that JoJo said "make good choices, and explore the stars" and left our house. now my kid has a crazy obsession with planets.

Usually the deceased will visit for a last look around, sometimes appear in dreams of family members to send messages before they go off to hell. (hell for everyone in Chinese custom, serve your time then reincarnation) Supposedly accompanied by hell guards or sometimes the 2 deities
