Lets go one further, lets buy HUGE chunks of land, build lakes, and then build a subterranean viewing area so we can watch the fish from all angles! A 3 acre panel of 6" acrylic cant be that expensive could it?Let's all build lakes!
Ask the Ga aquarium. They have a 61 x 23 x 2 viewing panel on their largest tank. All measurements are in feet.Lets go one further, lets buy HUGE chunks of land, build lakes, and then build a subterranean viewing area so we can watch the fish from all angles! My father, uncle and their cousin did it on my cousin's farm 30yrs ago so they could use their kayaks. It took them a week for a 100x200ft lake, about 6ft deep, with an island in the middle. It was in the NJ Pine Barrens (Pemberton), so getting it to fill with water was not an issue. They then caught fish in regular lakes to stock it with. It is still there.Let's all build lakes!

No viewing window, but you can always build a glass bottomed boat.
