Caught him in one of his poorer attempts to hide in plain sight. Thinking he's hungry, tends to sit out more when he wants more rosies.
Working on getting a feeding video posted. Easily the quickest fish ive ever seen when eating. even slowing down frame by frame on my iphone with an editing app you can just see a minnow in front of him, his body flutters for one frame and the minnow is gone and he has scales and bubbles coming out of his top gill cover the next frame. super cool fish!
This one is supposedly a Catathyridium jenynsii but could very well be a mislabled and overpriced A. lineatus, so far it seems to show more of the jenynsii body structure and pattern most of the time however
That's awesome. Almost looks like a piece of material with stitching.
Haha pretty cool how he barely even moves, just sucks in a fish. Does it swim around much?
Actually moves quite a bit! He's in a different spot every day and watching him swim is hilarious
