I also called my LFS about a couple things they posted and when I talked to the manager and mentioned I was the one who got the del and he asked what I paid for it and thats when he told me he is giving me a $10 credit because he wasn't planning on charging me that much and to make matters even better he has 1 remaining ropefish that he is now saving for me and with the credit it will only cost me $3 hell yeah today is good!!!!!!!!!1

I have 4 in there now. When I had 2 they would always hide and you would only see them when one would decide he liked the other ones hiding spot better and chase him out of it. Then I remember reading they do better in groups and picked up 2 more and that day they started swimming around the tank and coming out at feeding time. Now they are the 1st to the food. They do chase each other and you notice real quick how agile they are but I think some of the chasing is play. The biggest problem I have with them is they are so enthusiastic about the food it can spook the bichirs. But overall I like them a hole hell of a lot more than I was expecting

I made them unfortunately I discovered last night at feeding time that I need to change them a little because they don't slide very easy. The problem is the backstrip I have uses 1/4" glass but the channels will only take 1/8" glass. I used this for the channels

the front piece of glass is 1/8" and is in the lower channel and the 1/4" is in the top channel. I am probably going to have to replace the 1/4" glass with 1/8" and move it to the bottom channel so the front glass can be moved to the top channel where it can slide easier
