How long do you think this tank would last?

Water quality ammonia 0, nitrtie 0,nitrate 80ppm.. 1-2x 50% WC a week.

Question : in how many years from now do you think this tank will be overstocked? 2 years? 3 years? I know the tank is not wide nuff especially for the rays. Im planing to get a 100-120cm wide tank, and make this current tank for the sump. Any suggestions would be appreciated

I'd say like 8-12 months maybe. As they get bigger the bio load is going to be crazy

Agreed on the bio load,he'll probably be doing plenty of large water changes as well.

Right now i do 1-2x 50% WC weekly

I think as they get bigger those rays will be the biggest impact on water quality.

Future plan is to get a 300cm L x 100 or 120cm W x 60-70cm H. Im going to combine those 2 fx 6 and 1 eheim 2260 with the current 285 gal tank as the sump.

I will be moving to a new home hopefully by the end of 2018 the earliest, so i wanna know if this current tank can be good for the mean time.

For the mean time im doing more researches about sump filter, as i have never used one lol

You should be able to make it work for that span of time if there are no aggression issues as long as you keep on top of your water quality.....a sump would help quite a bit.

Yes 40ppm right out from the tap.
