Having a big barrel to age the water for a day before the change would help2x 70% wouldnt it be too much for the fish?
Im trying my best.. 1-2x 50% wc and just feed what they can finish within 5minutes, scoop any waste if i see any.You should be able to make it work for that span of time if there are no aggression issues as long as you keep on top of your water quality.....a sump would help quite a bit.
Nitrate from tap is 40ppm already.. so literally theyre only producing 40ppm weekly. If i understand it correctlyHaving a big barrel to age the water for a day before the change would help
giar overstocking is basically when you can't keep nitrate under control. Maybe moving the rays will help, they may not do well in those conditions for long
Should be fine since the tank parameters already should match the source water pretty closely in terms of ph and tds. With correct dosing of water conditioner and similar water temp, I don't think it would harm your fish in any way. Adding a sump sounds ideal, but I would go as large as you can to add water volume. If you could do a sump with a lot of plants, all the better.2x 70% wouldnt it be too much for the fish?
