Should I feed Senegal Bichirs bloodworms?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
They had to take the best fish from us.
I'm fairly sure snakehead are illegal anywhere warm. Including here now

Apparently fish keeping is very expensive in Aus.

Earthworms are great instead of bloodworm

Slayer2533 Slayer2533 Just move to the U.S. It'll be cheaper than feeding your Poly addiction in Australia.

for some strange reason my current bichirs would rather eat pellets than worms

Sounds like my knifefish. The polys should eat anything with gusto

Mine even try to eat the sand. Well my CB sen does. The WC seems too smart for that, but they both eat peas

Not all of them will have the same appetites. My ornate will prefer pellets over tilapia, some will eatanything with gusto others will be more picky or just overall eat less. My ansorgii eats on the lighter side, one ccongi wont eat worms, another endli eats more tilapia than pellets

Ha I wish. We do get some other awesome fish and pets over here though. But if I was able to get these polys breeding It would be good times :D. We get Australian arowana's here and my fish seller can get me asian arowana's silver if I wanted. Tank is not big enough for that though lol.

We have Jardinis too; it's the Asia Aros that are illegal.

We outlaw imported Asian aro because the wild population in Asia is endangered. I'm sure there are some "other" reasons too. Some we outlaw because it's invasive. Someone posted freshwater stingrays are baned? I didn't know that. I'm guessing wild population in danger?

Only in some states. I know Florida and Georgia are two of them.
