Search for CizziB breeding thread on ornate polys. It's the same concept. She was very detailed. Provided a step by step how to. It's in this sub forum somewhere.

Oh ok thanks for the info. Didn't realise Senegals were one of the slowest growing species of bichir. Bichir are quite rare in Australia even just a senegal costs $300 - 450$ its nuts. If your lucky you can find Ornates from time to time but they are quite rare.

As I said earlier stupidly expensive in Australia. My pair cost $900 Australian Dollars with $50 dollar store credit. So I'm in no rush to put them in any risky situations as you can probably imagine. But I have a love for exotic and strange fish so here I am.

Yeah it is....If I hadn't been keeping fish for a few years no way I would of made that kind of risky purchase. But if I can get them to breed it would be awesome
