Nice pickup! I got my WC poly on pellets already, it landed 2 weeks prior to me buying it.

WC fish aren't so greedy as CB polys, I have a senegal of each type and my wild one is pretty slow on food while my cb one will just inflate

I don't think a poly can resist food for 2 weeks

So there was some slime shedding going on by my lap a few days ago and cohazard told me that it is caused due to stress....

So I did the most logical thing a person can do...

No more slime shedding... I'm yet to see them eat however.

I got 2 more lol. They're a lot bigger than the first guy (they're 12-13") and I got them on Wednesday.

As for slime coat shedding (string like sheddings). It's totally normal. Happens on occasion with high volume waterchange, when dosed too much salt, or in a new environment. Regarding the not eating. It can happen with wild caughts. They'll eat when ready.

Thanks buddy . I got these two from a different lfs. But they were all from the same WC batch that my local lfses got. I'm pretty sure cause they're all from the same local supplier.

I got them from King Aquarium in San Jose.

They usually have regular cb senegals and maybe ornates... I got lucky this time, they had these guys .
