Emerald Creek Purple Garnet

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah but who knows on the algae break out coulda been from anything, stirring up detritus when he added or changed out substrate, him not really taking care of tank. Who knows? just some guy on some random thread in my search to get cool colored sand like you guys.
But i think garnet sand is natural colored sand, or a stone that they make is into a sand, so no chemical mix in it

Thanks guys. Appreciate the facts and extra insight on the issue:In that case, I'm gonna pass on it. Will try getting purple garnet or regular garnet at another time. For now I'll probably just mix in some black.

I Don't want to mix in any chemical sand in with the fishes!

Yeah Garnet is actual garnet gem stone Rep confirmed all natural nothing added. High quality Gems are used in jewelry and trinkets while low quality is almost same hardness as diamond great for industry. I have talked to Ryan at Barton a few times totally not helpful in procuring said garnet, he is sales rep for my area doesn't even know who if anyone he supplies it to.

Thanks man. Will do. I tried talking to the regional sales rep a while back. They were saying I had to order a pallet. But if this location in Orlando, sells individual bags, then that is a game changer.
