Are AngelfishUSA Altum Angels Hardy?!

I am really considering getting some altum angels from Angelfish USA. Are they hardy? They have great prices and I am thinking about getting a small group!

I'm gonna say probably. Their Tank raised so there already use the the higher Ph of tap water.

That's what I was thinking. If they are living in tap water and are tank raised they should be fine.

The only thing I worry about is if they will do ok with a shoal of redhooks and black bars a black ghost knife, lima shovelnose, a severum and chocolate cichlid? The severum and chocolate have proven to be docile.

I have 13 wild altums currently. They are living with 6 clowns a lima shovelnose a ossa knife fish and a BGK. No problems at all with the other tank mates.

AHA! Great to hear, so I am going to do it then!
Lima shovelnose are one of my favorite South American catfish and they don't grow huge like Tiger Shovelnose.
Altum angels are so pretty.

I got them from a guy in Illinois who imports them. Well he did last year but this year he isn't getting any.

10 are wild Orinoco and 3 are wild pterophyllum santa isabel.
