the jur is soo cool looking im really happy we picked one up
 
They've settled in nice. Did you get some current for the juruense J jaws7777 ?

Thx man i left everything as is between the ac110 and internanl sun sun i thonk its fine...i almost wanna say a little too much with the internal but in a couple of days they'll move to the 150

So far the jur is proving to surprise me based on what you guys reported. Spot feeding hasnt worked yet. Its been seeking out food on its own which is easier on me lol
 
Being gravid weakens fish, demands vast amounts of energy, and increases their oxygen dependency dramatically. Something to keep in mind for now and in future.

Well, you have two kids, so you would know. Secondhand.

Hard to believe it can still swim. Lol. Did it come that big or have you just been doing some power feeding?

That thing looks like a gulper that just had a big meal.

IDK what's their normal gestation period. Anyhow. I was just saying. For instance, if the power was to go out, the gravid fish are the first to suffocate. If such a fish sustains significant injuries, its chance of not making it increases dramatically versus a non-gravid specimen.
