See above. Yellowcat Yellowcat will straighten you out. Never had this beautiful genus. Rings a bell for me but I'd have to look through PCF pictures etc. IIRC, Kirk aka yellowcat, reported there was a mixup with ID at some point.

I would live to hear the back story from where you started to where you are now in the hobby. Your posts, knowledge, and tanks are an inspiration bro.

Since I've kept a few species of dwarf giraffe cats (to 18"), the fish in the video is parauchenoglanis punctatus and it's a male fish. I've had both male and female of the species, the males long and thin, the females have a bit thicker, more robust body shape.
Photo's of my past p. punctatus…

Since I'm sharing, coincidentally my latest acquisition is a pair of these..

I should mention that notoglanidium macrostoma don't get very large, under a foot it seems. Some parauchenoglanis such as p. punctatus and p ngamensis grow to 18" or so whereas p. guttatus stay quite small. Too bad that so many parauchenoglanis species are so rare or impossible to find in the hobby...

Where I am now, you know, I think. Trying to open a small Public Aquarium and Fish Rescue as a business. Per my signature links.

I am a light-weight fish keeper with noteworthy experience of less than a decade.

Lots of photos in the links (lazy!!):

-- Started with a koi pond in 2008. 10,000 gal. https://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=30929&hilit=yard

-- Then got two ~2' channel catfish from a farm, caught rod and reel. Went into the koi pond. https://www.planetcatfish.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=29628&hilit=pet+catfish

-- Then came one 30 gal tank.

-- Joined Planet Catfish. As a fish keeper, I am raised on PCF.

-- In 1-2 years, there were ~12 tanks, scores of fish.
