As I pointed out earlier I am setting up a 150 gallon South American display, but I have decided that I do want to keep a few non South American oddballs. I haven't had any luck deciding on them. There is one I have settled for and that's a fire eel or a tire track eel closet thing to a moray eel for me.
But, I am looking for one more cool non South American oddball? It could be a top bottom or active swimmer. One fish I am interested in is the Jade goby but I can't seem to find them.
Polypterus Bichirs I have always been interested in. What species could do well long term in a 150?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You could do UJ or smaller LJ species of Polypterus in your 150 gallon.

Does UJ and LJ mean Upper Jaw and Lower Jaw?
I am slowly getting my freshwater memory back, I've been doing saltwater the last few years and wrapped my mind around it.
What would be some examples of Upper and Lower Jaw bichirs?
I am thinking I like the albino senegal and also common senegal, and delhezi.

Be warned though Polypterus are very addictive to most lol.

You dope dealer you !
Hahah

Op 150 gal could work with dels, retro, sen, gold dust. Basically all upper jaws except teugelsi, weeksi, and ornates as they will eventually outgrow the tank.

No wc lower jaws. CB koliba are very commin as well as cb endli...the endli would take a while to outgrow the tank

Awesome! So I will get an albino senegal and a delhezi.
Would NTT datnoids grow to large? I've always loved them.
I'm going to make a thread in the datnoids section, too.
